A podcast focusing on the evolution of an individual. For those who are in continuous motion towards their best self.

Link: https://soundcloud.com/.../ievolve-season-2-epi-3...
I had so much fun sharing a bit of my story with my dear friend and colleague Angel.

Here are a few words from him:

“Nobody escapes being wounded. We all are wounded people, whether physically, emotionally, mentally, or spiritually. Simply put, wounded healers offer their hurts to help others receive comfort and encouragement. They share in the sufferings and share with other people. They become a gentle, strong, and compassionate presence for the people around them.” ~ Adapted from book by Henri Nouwen “The Wounded Healer”

For the 3rd episode of the Second Season of the iEvolve Podcast on the wounded healer, I am joined by my dear friend and colleague Michelle Mullady. The episode is out now, so click the link above to listen. There’s also episodes from the 1st season you might find very helpful to your spiritual journey.

Remember: All is well in your world. Everything is working out for your highest good and the highest good of those around you. Out of this situation, and any situation you may find yourself in, only good will come. You are safe.

Blessings,
Life Coach Angel

Candle Lighting As A Sacred Ritual

7/30/2020

Picture
There is something very powerful about lighting candles as a daily practice, for a particular reason, or simply to give thanks. Candles have helped people pray and meditate since ancient times. Simply igniting the flame, for believers, can in itself be a potent act of faith. The spiritual symbolism and vibration of candles can help you in a variety of ways. You may sense it as a boost of energy, a dedication. Candles are something physical that you can burn, expanding the length of your prayer.

Just as light overcomes darkness, Spirit can empower you to overcome challenges in any situation. The light from the fire of a candle's glow denotes the presence of Spirit within you and your belief in this inner essence to ascend above the illusions of the human experience. Every time you set alight a candle, you're expressing your reliance on a higher good to prevail.

You can communicate your prayer intentions through numerous forms of expression. The easiest method is simply to speak aloud whatever you have to say as you light your candle. Other creative ideas include writing a message on paper and burning it in a candle flame and carving a message onto your candle in the form of a symbolic word, phrase, or drawing.

If you feel called to work with candles in your home, at church, or with a beloved group, please feel free to use this uplifting prayer to illumine our world with love.

'As I set fire to this candle, I open my heart and manifest a light in the world. I give rise to love within myself and allow this love to be delivered in abundance, on the wings of angels, across our beloved planet. Thank you, Holy Mother-Father God, for sending your gifts of compassion, peace, and love to all those who need it. My entire being is flowing with gratitude with the knowledge that you are the light that leads them to serenity, and I surrender all I can to you, trusting your presence will guide us.

And so it is ... Amen!'

Peacefully,
Michelle Mullady

My Favorite "F" Word ... Forgiveness

A podcast focusing on the evolution of an individual. For those who are in continuous motion towards their best self.

"My dear friend and colleague, Michelle Mullady shares with us the power of forgiveness. How forgiveness is a virtue, it is divine. But more than that it sets you free, from what weighs you down inside." ~ Angel Santiago

Tune in to listen to this podcast here!
This episode featured music from Jordan Smith - "Stand In The Light" and from Inna Modja - "Forgive Yourself"

Set aside about 10-15 minutes for this forgiveness meditation:

Find a comfortable place to sit or lie down. Take a long slow deep breath in. And gently let that go. Let your eyes flutter closed. And again take another long slow deep breath in ... and gently release it. Now just float there. Watching your breath. Witnessing it as it gently flows in and out. Allowing your mind to calm. Allowing your body to relax. There is no place else to be. There is nothing else to do except to surrender right here, right now to this sacred precious moment.

Now drop your attention down into your heart chakra located at the center of your chest. Through the simple rhythm of your breath, find the point of peace within, where all is calm and tranquil.

One-by-one call forth each person into your imagination that you are holding onto resentments towards. Begin a conversation with each person on your list, expressing all of the frustration, sadness, hurt, and anger that you have felt. Tell them your story. Don't hold anything back. Once you have done this, explain to them that from this point forward you are going to call upon God and the angels for support to forgive them for everything, and to cut the cords that will dissolve and release all constricted energy between you.

Offer them a blessing and say, "I forgive you and set us both free to go on our own way and be happy."

When you have finished this process, scribble across a mental piece of paper with a brightly colored marker, "I now forgive and release you all in peace." Tear up the sheet of paper in your mind and mentally burn it as a symbol of your willingness to fully release it.

Say to yourself, "God, grant me the serenity that acceptance brings.

I invite you to come back to your breath, taking one more slow deep breath in and let that go. Wiggle your fingers and your toes. If you are ready you may open your eyes."

This beautiful message did not have an author, but I found it floating around on Instagram:

Some are posting on social media.
Some are protesting in the streets.
Some are donating silently.
Some are educating themselves.
Some are having tough conversations with friends and family.

A revolution has many lanes ... be kind to yourself and to others who are traveling in the same direction.

Just keep your heart open and your foot on the gas!

Heal From Within, and Shift Your World

4/29/2020

Picture
Do you ever think to yourself, “If only my situation (or another individual) would change, my life would be great?” It would be wonderful if the circumstances or people in your life could change for the better, but it doesn’t usually work that way. If you want to see improvements in your current experiences, you must stop waiting for things to shift in the outer world and recognize that the change you're looking for will come from within YOU. When you begin the journey towards healing yourself, all the other people and circumstances in your life will transform in relation to you.

Ask yourself, “Am I willing to take the steps needed to create my own peace and happiness?” If you answered “YES”, then breaking free can begin today. You can be the hero of your own life story, one day at a time, when you get the support you need to nurture yourself through each stage of your evolution and begin to love yourself as you heal your own life.

Waiting for things to be different is a wearisome, frustrating course of action. But embracing growth in the areas of your mind, body, emotions and spirit is exhilarating. It can be a positive challenge that shifts your world into an essential, interactive journey. The moment you become willing to flow with the process, something powerful happens. You open a doorway to learning how to release the blocks and barriers that have been getting in the way of you discovering your own power, inner wisdom, and strengths.
If you feel an emotion—an old, repressed, hardened chunk of emotion or a more recent one that has arisen along the path, you can free it and the belief that is attached to it: I am unlovable. Life has to be difficult. I am not enough.

When you release the stale emotional energy of the past and the false beliefs linked to it, your spirit ignites and your body shifts. You experience a cleansing and detoxification. Transformation takes place on several levels. In time a new lesson comes to light. You awaken to the truth that you can choose happiness, freedom, forgiveness, and self-love. Soon you come to a more evolved awareness about yourself, about life. I am lovable. Life is intended to be simple, easy, exciting, and adventurous. I am liberated to be at peace. I have choices about my experiences. I can reveal my heart and soul to the world. Then, right before your eyes, the change that you've been waiting for happens, but it happens as a result of your own evolutionary process—not because something or someone outside of you transformed.

Trust the process of healing yourself. Honor it, respect it, revere it. When you start to love yourself more each day, it's astonishing how your life continuously gets better. You feel better. You look healthier. You become connected to your soul purpose. Money is available as you need it. Your relationships improve, or the negative ones melt away making space for positive supportive people to come into your life.

Taking charge of your life experiences leads to a remembrance of how incredibly wonderful you truly are and always have been. Welcome the changes that can be yours. Let the universe help you, as you become willing to take an active part in creating your well-being.

Show up and watch, as all you need is revealed to you one step at a time. It's your moment to sparkle and shine.

Learn to Relax

What is stress?

"Stress is the body's reaction to harmful situations ... whether they’re real or perceived. When you feel threatened, a chemical reaction occurs in your body that allows you to act in a way to prevent injury. This reaction is known as "fight-or-flight,” or the stress response. During stress response, your heart rate increases, breathing quickens, muscles tighten, and blood pressure rises. You’ve gotten ready to act. It is how you protect yourself." ~ WebMD
Picture
Each of us experiences stress in a completely personal way and exhibits the signs and symptoms of stress in a unique fashion. No matter how stressed you are, it is highly unlikely that you will be obviously revealing all the emotional, physical, and behavioral symptoms of stress. Most people tend to show patterns of symptoms according to how badly stressed they actually are. Learning to recognize your personal early signs of stress, and taking effective steps at that point to cultivate a relaxation response within yourself, can support you in avoiding heading down the path of creating more severe symptoms later on.

The following are possible stress related symptoms that you can experience according to WebMD:

Emotional symptoms of stress include:
  • Becoming easily agitated, frustrated, and moody
  • Feeling overwhelmed, like you are losing control or need to take control
  • Having difficulty relaxing and quieting your mind
  • Feeling bad about yourself (low self-esteem), lonely, worthless, and depressed
  • Avoiding others
Physical symptoms of stress include:
  • Low energy
  • Headaches
  • Upset stomach, including diarrhea, constipation, and nausea
  • Aches, pains, and tense muscles
  • Chest pain and rapid heartbeat
  • Insomnia
  • Frequent colds and infections
  • Loss of sexual desire and/or ability
  • Nervousness and shaking, ringing in the ear, cold or sweaty hands and feet
  • Dry mouth and difficulty swallowing
  • Clenched jaw and grinding teeth
Cognitive symptoms of stress include:
  • Constant worrying
  • Racing thoughts
  • Forgetfulness and disorganization
  • Inability to focus
  • Poor judgment
  • Being pessimistic or seeing only the negative side
Behavioral symptoms of stress include:
  • Changes in appetite -- either not eating or eating too much
  • Procrastinating and avoiding responsibilities
  • Increased use of alcohol, drugs, or cigarettes
  • Exhibiting more nervous behaviors, such as nail biting, fidgeting, and pacing

There are steps you can take that can help you to reduce stress, change your response to it, or regain a sense of control in your life. Finding effective outlets for your anxiety and frustration needs to be considered by each individual. Make time to think about and the personal activities that excite you, increase peace of mind, and manifest joy in your life. Whatever you choose, it needs to be something that you are going to really enjoy and doesn't feel like a punishment to yourself.

The following are some simple ideas to inspire you:
  • Energy Therapy
  • Massage
  • Spiritual Life Coaching
  • Exercise
  • Healing Breathwork
  • Meditation
  • Journaling
  • Aromatherapy
  • Reflexology
  • Change your eating habits
  • Develop a support network
As you can see, there are many solutions to managing your stress. I encourage you to pick one of the above that you are drawn to and begin that healing journey for yourself.

Please feel free to contact me at info@MichelleMullady.com if you would like to schedule an appointment at this time.

Five-Finger Thankfulness

1/31/2020

Picture
This is a simple yet profound daily spiritual practice for uplifting your spirit. You can set in motion your journey to a tranquil, centered state of gratitude by following the steps below:

1. Begin this sacred time of stillness by watching your breath as you quiet your mind and free your heart to listen, to love and to grow. You are united in a consciousness of oneness in the silence … relax and let go. Allow loving thoughts and feelings of gratitude to surface. With your eyes closed, make a tight fist while taking a deep inward breath, and then open it as you slowly exhale. Repeat this exercise several times as you allow the energy of gratitude to surround you and stream through you.

2. Touching your thumb to your index finger, picture something that you're sincerely thankful for in the present moment. Imagine it clearly and give thanks to Divine Love for it.

3. Touching your thumb to your middle finger, take a trip backwards in time to the recent past and recall something you feel genuinely grateful for that happened during that period in your life. Visualize it clearly and feel thankful for how this experience has blessed you.

4. Touching your thumb to your ring finger, gently catapult yourself into the near future and think of something that you desire to affirm is waiting for you there to enjoy. Envision it clearly and give thanks for it.

5. Touching your thumb to your pinky finger, imagine something that transcends all space and time that you're deeply grateful for in the here and now. It could be God, the angels, or life itself. Convey repeated thanks for it.

This easy five-finger sacred ritual is intended to support you to enter into an uplifted state of true peace and fulfillment. When you express gratitude for the blessings in your life on a daily basis, you fan the flames for continued good to flow forth from Source into your existence. Your energy responds to the mental practice of gratitude, encouraging abundance to grow larger and brighter in all areas of your life.

With Love,
Michelle Mullady

Connection To Self

9/30/2019

This week I invite you to hold a space in time to explore the most intimate human connection you will ever have – your connection with yourself.

From birth until death you will spend more time with yourself than with anyone else. Therefore, it is in your best interest to put some energy into developing the deepest relationship you can possibly have with the magnificent being at your inner core.

Each morning take about five minutes to stand in front of a mirror and lovingly look into your own eyes, as you say to yourself out loud, "I love and approve of you. You are Love and Light, Divine in nature. You are beautiful and wonderful exactly as you are. You are loved wholly and completely. You are Divine Love called into being. You are a bright Light in the world. I love being you!"
Picture

As time passes, you will acquire an appreciation and fondness of your own company. You will begin to understand that you are a valuable companion. You will discover new and wonderful ways to enjoy your own friendship. Loving yourself makes living less lonely and fills your life with limitless opportunities for serenity, joy, and sensational satisfaction.

My Inner Bliss™ Daily Affirmation:
“I allow myself to cherish the seconds, minutes, and hours I spend with me. I am deserving of my own loving attention. I celebrate the beautiful creation of Spirit that I AM!”

Blessings,
Michelle Mullady

Awaken Your Intuition With Mantra Meditation

5/24/2019

Picture
Mantra meditation is one of the tools I use to help others to awaken to their silent super power. I believe spiritual practice is essential to reclaiming and working with your sixth sense. Meditating gives you an opportunity to clear your mental airways so that messages of intuition can be heard. Meditation will help you release the prattle of thoughts, ideas, worries, concerns, and things on your need to-do list that muddle your receptive awareness. When you regularly sit peacefully and do nothing, you can achieve the inner stillness that is a prerequisite to letting your intuition guide you to fulfillment and flow.

To meditate, find a quiet comfortable place where you can sit in a relaxed manner, with your spine erect, for five to twenty minutes a day. Let your thoughts quiet and concentrate on a mantra. As thoughts come into your mind, gently but firmly allow yourself to let them go and return your concentration to your chosen mantra. You can meditate in a comfortable chair, by a lake or stream, in a forest, out in your yard, or anyplace you choose that supports you to unwind and go within.

Here a few examples of modern mantras:
  1. “Love is the only miracle there is.” – Osho
  2. “Be the change you wish to see in the world.” – Gandhi
  3. “Every day in every way I’m getting better and better.” – Laura Silva
  4. “I change my thoughts, I change my world.” – Norman Vincent Peale
