The good news is that you can change by beginning the daily practice of blissfulness. Start by looking into your heart. Ask yourself what you truly desire. What would feel good? What would make you quietly appreciative and full inside? There is nothing to be gained by continuously depriving yourself. Blissfulness is not intending to be a fleeting feeling. You can give yourself permission to tap into your positive feelings at will and regularly.
Giving yourself what you want isn't selfish. It teaches others they can have more of what they want from life, too.
Use your imagination. Liberate yourself. Take a while to visualize and feel the emotions of what would align you with your true bliss. Then, take out a pen and write it all down—anything and everything that you can do to make yourself feel good—tiny, immense, sincere, simple. Pick one item from your list and go do that immediately.
