Use this five-minute mini meditation anytime you desire to rejuvenate your being with the healing power of self-love. Practice this exercise alone. Settle down in a tranquil place. Separate yourself from any possible distractions ... cell phones, computers, people. Get comfortable. For example, create a cozy haven in your bed with soft pillows and blankets, surround yourself with fragrant lit candles. My bliss is propping myself up in a comfy chair, warmed by the sun in my garden. Whatever you do, make it your own sacred space to rest in for a short while. Discover inner silence by getting quiet. Gradually relax your body as you slowly inhale, then exhale. For the duration of two minutes solely focus on your breathing. Allow the circulation of your breath to bring you back to balance.
Begin to feel the energy held within. Place your right hand over your heart center and speak these words aloud:
"I breathe in love, and I flow with life. I surround myself with the astonishing pink light of the universe. May this healing light of unconditional love enter every area of my reality and fill my heart and soul. May the magic of love always move me to radiate warmth and caring to myself and all those who touch my life."
Now observe the sensations in the area of your heart chakra, subtle or dramatic. Heat. Coolness. Vibration. Tingling. Expansion. Pleasure. Tension releasing. Love. Peace. Compassion. Allow it to happen. Be willing to let go of any resistance. With time, you'll feel a fluid stream of fiery energy growing in your heart that spontaneously flows out into your body. Simply continue to breathe into and wholly experience each amazing awareness.
